As you know at HØWL we live by our mantra; Create Explore Wonder.
So when there are strange rumblings of a trip to a land we've not visited before we get a bit excited....
The latest thing we've been involved in was an amazingly short trip to Alanya, Turkey for a photography shoot with the tourism board. We had 5 days in total - 2 of which were travel days and 3 to explore the town, do activities and soak up the locals.
There was a few things that really took me by surprise. Mainly how welcoming the locals were, I know that this part of Turkey is very popular with many European tourists but I hadn't really ever heard of this town let alone consider taking a trip there. So for me it was a great pleasure, for sure.
From awesome Land Rover 4x4 excursions, the Dim caves (the name bares no resemblance to my experience - I'd call them the sick caves ) to setting sail along the coast. Alanya has you covered.
I think this trip shows the power of following your passion and accepting any opportunities that come your way.
So all that there is for me to say is many thanks to the Turkish Culture and Tourism Office and Alanya Turkey for inviting me on this trip.
This has been an amazing journey so far and has lead us to be able to be involved in so many amazing stories, what's more this is just the beginning.
Here are some of my favourite snaps from the trip.
See you out there,
